Internal/External Linkings

These links can be created within your own site, from page to page, and also outside of your website, linking into your pages. External linking is when links link out to another website. Directory Submissions
Online directories are not search engines. Directories are sites with business listings, much like your local classified ads. There are many free and paid directories, some are good for your site, and many are actually harmful because they are low value directories. For each client, we place a free directory listing in DMOZ.com – Google’s directory. DMOZ is a human edited directory that may take up to 12 months or more to be listed. The significance is in the long term results. Once DMOZ lists your website, it gives your website authority, which means you achieve better rankings and more traffic. Google also pings your listings to dozens of other directories for free, expanding your web presence.
Local Business Search Inclusion
Google, MSN and Yahoo! each have a local business search program. We will list your website and business information with these programs. The benefits of having local search is that your website will appear in Google Map listings and certain search strings. Have you ever searched for a local pizza place online and a map popped up with listings beside of it? Well, those are local search results. You want to be seen.
Geo-Targeted Landing Pages

Peter D. Cimina has just published has brand new fiction novel. It is called The Secret Sin of Opi. It is about how “Decent” people hold seven teenage boys captive for Twenty-Two years and why???
Peter called DTG thursday to setup a meeting to find out if we could help him design a very simple website and to incorporate his blog.

DTG meet Peter friday afternoon and went over the web based services that DTG has to offer.

Our Web Design Process
We take great care in ensuring that our clients expectations are always exceeded. This means that we involve you, our customer, in each step of the design process. As the project progresses, there are invariably changes in the design, architecture, and functionality requested. We do not proceed to the next stage until you are completely satisfied with the current configuration. Following this approach ensures that we deliver a web site that is finely tuned to your exact requirements.
We understand that each company is different. Some prefer to have a deeper involvement in certain steps, like the sites aesthetics, while others are more concerned with functionality, while still others rely on our expertise to make all of the design decisions. How deeply involved you wish to be is up to you, but we always make sure that you are completely satisfied before we advance to the next level. You will find a general outline of our process below.
Step 1 Defining Objectives
The first step in the web design process is defining our client’s objectives and expectations, which usually involves a face to face meeting. We explain, in depth, the many options that are involved in building an internet presence, including functionality, aesthetics, hosting and email options, e-commerce capabilities, social networking features, marketing, multimedia, etc. We then listen as you tell us which options you feel would benefit your company. We let you tell us about your industry, your company, and your customers. We answer any questions you may have, and we work together to develop a plan that satisfies your needs and budget.
Step 2 Formal Proposal
After finalizing a design plan, you are presented with a formal proposal and contract which includes a breakdown of all costs and a detailed timetable for your review. We make any necessary changes, finalize the agreement, and move on to the design stage.
Step 3 Design Development
In the design stage, we develop the site’s architecture and navigation structure. We also use our artistic expertise to design a ‘look’ and ‘feel’ for your site which is in line with your particular industry and individual preferences. A diagram outlining the site’s structure, and sample pages are submitted for your approval.
Step 4 Technical Programming
In this crucial step, all content is gathered together and we code the complete site. All graphics and multimedia are expertly created and incorporated into the site. Back-end programming for forms, databases, shopping carts, and the like is performed. It is at this stage where, if we are providing hosting services, email boxes are configured. Coding for search engine optimization is also done at this stage. When complete, the site is uploaded to an ‘off domain’ area on our server where we thoroughly test its functionality, cross browser compatibility, navigation, and load speed. When we are satisfied with all results, you are provided a link for your review and approval.
Step 5 Publishing
After making any requested changes, we upload the site to our servers under your domain name. We then manually submit your pages to any requested search engines and directories. A final test is made, and, if requested, a web site marketing plan is initiated.
